Aloha! My name is Amedeo, and I’m the handsome fellow in the picture above. I run Puna Gallery Gift Emporium with my wife in the small town of Pahoa on the Big Island of Hawaii.

I opened this shop with the full intention of supporting local artists, here on the island we have so many talented artists that go unseen and I wanted an outlet to provide for them.

Just like other businesses in Pahoa, we’ve suffered greatly from the recent lava flow, as well as artists we showcase in the gallery.
